Solution 1: Solar energy which is energy that is taken from the sun and produces energy in homes by the sun’s rays of light hitting panels called solar panels.
Solar energy technologies today include solar heating, solar photovoltaics, solar thermal electricity and solar architecture, which can make considerable contributions to solving some of the most urgent problems the world now faces. Solar technologies are characterized as either passive solar or active solar, depending on the way they capture. Most people that use solar energy as an energy source use active solar techniques because they use photovoltaic panels and solar thermal collectors to gain the energy for the house.
In 2011, the International Energy Agency said that "the development of affordable, inexhaustible and clean solar energy technologies will have huge longer-term benefits. That it will also increase sontries energy security by enhancing sustainability, reduce pollution, lower the costs of mitigating climate change, and keep fossil fuel prices lower than otherwise. These advantages are all global."
The earth recieves 174 petawatts of incoming solar radiation at the upper atmosphere. Approximately 30% is reflected back to space while the rest is absorbed by clouds, oceans and land masses. So what happens with Solar energy is that it will hit the Solar panel and then the energy is transferred to an electronic box that is soon transferred to the inverter, the inverter goes to the controllers of the house, then to the household appliances, and is also release back to the earth outside
"I have no doubt that we will be successful in harnessing the sun's energy. If sunbeams were weapons of war, we would have had solar energy centuries ago." -George PorterNobel Prize winner in Chemistry, 1967
"Solar energy is a clean alternative energy source. It's clear, given the current energy crisis, that we need to embrace new sources of renewable energy that are good for our planet. I believe very strongly in using technology to provide affordable options that all consumers can put into practice."-Yang YangUCLA Engineering Professor
"We hope that ultimately solar energy can be extensively used in the commercial sector as well as the private sector. Imagine solar cells installed in cars to absorb solar energy to replace the traditional use of diesel and gas. People will vie to park their cars on the top level of parking garages so their cars can be charged under sunlight. Using the same principle, cell phones can also be charged by solar energy. There are such a wide variety of applications."-Yang Yang
"The solar market is projected to grow 35 percent a year for the next three to five years."-Walter NasdeoManaging Director and Director of Research at Ardour Capital, developer of the Ardour Capital Global Solar Energy ETF

All those quotes are from people that are really into science and really know what they are talking about. There all scientists that think solar energy is going to be a great energy source for the future and that’s why I chose solar energy also is because not only I think that but professional scientists think that. Also solar energy is such a great way on to save the environment and not pollute it. This environmentally - friendly source is saving the forest by not making power poles with lines running through the air for energy. This system will open up the world with no power poles or power lines and maintain saving trees, animals, lakes, rivers, and even people because it costs less money.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmWrGPKcMNM This video shows and talks about how the solar pannels collect the energy and what it does while collecting the suns energy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0InAuhAre4&feature=related This video explains how solar pannels work and again shows just how the energy is moving around and how it collects with other little energy molecules.
